ALLEA - Adaptation of reclaimed wastewater reuse for agronomic use

In the context of reclaimed wastewater reuse in agriculture, the MUSE ALLEA project will study the water qualifies along the Water/Soil/Plant continuum.

The ALLEA project will focus on monitoring the reaction pathway (sorption, degradation, volatilization, internalization in plants,...) of pollutants as well as their impacts on microbial soil communities and their interaction with irrigation biofouling.

The structure of the project/WPs :

  • Action 1: Validation of analytical methods for monitoring biological and chemical  pollutants in water, soil and plants
  • Action 2: Role of agrosystems and biofilm in the contaminant transfer chain
  • Action 3 : Chemical and environmental risk assessment
