SUMMARY

Gabrielle RUDI is an associate professor at AgroParisTech Montpellier and teaches Hydrodynamics and Ecological Engineering. Gabrielle is an agronomy engineer. After starting her career in the private sector (consulting work and audits in agriculture and environmental companies), she specialized in the study of the hydrological and ecological functioning of agroecosystems. She defended a PhD thesis in 2019. Since 2020, she has been teaching in AgroParisTech in Montpellier.

She has knowledge in Ecohydrology, Engineering Ecology, water contaminants, as well as modelling. Her research work is mainly focused in the Mediterranean area. She studies the transfers of matter flows (contaminants, sediments, plant material,…) through the hydrological driver in agrosystems. Her research aims to assess the environmental risk associated with the fate of contaminants in agricultural areas, in different contexts (application of phytosanitary products, wastewater reuse in agriculture). She is also interested in the understanding and improvement of the functioning of agricultural buffer zones and periurban constructed wetlands.
